Everything You Need to Know for Outdoor Cinema Peterborough!


Hey there, cinema-goer!We’re so excited to welcome you to our magical movie night under the stars at Outdoor Cinema Peterborough – and we’ve got all the must-knows right here to make sure you have the best time ever!


🎬 On the Big Screen:

We’ll be showing three absolute crowd-pleasers: Encanto and the all-time classic Grease and The Goonies – so whether you’re into singing family favourites or strutting your stuff to summer nights, we’ve got you covered!


👍 Stay in the Loop:

First things first – hit that Like button on our Facebook page. We post all event updates there, especially if the weather's feeling a little dramatic.


🚗 Getting There:

When you arrive, park in their car parks around the hotel and make you way to the back of the hotel there you will be scanned in to the event.

⏰ Film Times:

  • Grease: Gates open at 6:00 PM, film starts at 7:30 PM

  • Encanto: Gates open at 11:30 AM, film starts at 12:30 PM

  • The Goonies: Gates open at 3:30 PM, film starts at 4:30 PM

    Heads up – the films start an hour after gates open, so you've got time to get comfy!


☁️ Weather & What to Bring:

Outdoor cinema = unpredictable British skies! Bring warm clothing, blankets, camping chairs, and check the forecast before you leave. If the weather is wild (like super windy), we might have to make a tough call and postpone for safety reasons – but we’ll always update you via Facebook.


🪑 Seating:

Standard tickets don't include seating, so bring your own comfy camping chair or picnic blanket. VIPs – you’re all set!


🍔 Food & Drink:

  • Hot food and drinks will be available on-site from our fab catering truck.

  • Alcohol will be available at this event – but you’re welcome to bring your own drinks! (Responsibly, of course 🍻)


🎶 Atmosphere Check:

Expect great music playing when you arrive, good vibes all around, and plenty of time to relax with your friends and family before the movie magic begins.

Yes, there are toilets on site – no need to worry where the closest hedge is!


⛔ A Quick Note on Alcohol:

We love a good time, but let’s keep things chilled. If anyone’s had a bit too much and gets a little too wobbly, we may have to step in for safety’s sake. So drink, enjoy, but pace yourself!

  • No BBQs, please.

  • Bring a torch – it’ll come in handy when it gets dark!

  • Wear appropriate footwear – it’s outdoors, and British grass can be full of surprises.
